Luza Festival
The Luza Festival is the Algarve International Festival of Light. It lasts for three days and is a one of a kind event. Basically, the festival shows the possibilities of light and aims to become an internationally renowned light festival. Luza Festival is a partnership project by ByBeau Studio and Eventors Lab, with the support of 365 Algarve and the municipality of Faro. If you want an unforgettable and illuminated experience, come visit the Luza Festival.
What to expect
Expect national and international artists who will show you what they can do with light. They have installations or performances that focus on light. Some of the buildings in the city will be ‘painted’ by light. Some of these installations allow people to interact with the light. The Luza Festival is outside, so basically you just walk around town at night and you will come across amazing light displays everywhere. Moreover, there is also a conference which lets you learn more about working with light. The last edition of this festival had about 60.000 visitors. If you are a new or young artist and would like to showcase your work as well, the Luza Lab provides you the opportunity to do so.
