Feira de São Martinho (Portimão)
The first Saint Martin’s Fair was held in 1662 and ever since it has been a yearly occuring fair in Portimão. At the fair you can try the traditional roasted chestnuts and octopus, buy handmade souvenirs and have a ride in the various carnaval rides. There is live entertainment with an area for dancing.
Luza Festival (Faro)
Come to the Luza Festival and be amazed by the different light installations from national and international artists. The last editions were a great success, attracting over 60 thousand visitors. Luza shows the work of established as well as new upcoming artists. Their works of light captures the culture, customs and traditions of the Algarve. The festival is in Faro.
